国外科技报道研究:方法与趋势Methods and Trends in the Studies of Media Coverage of Science and Technology

摘要(Abstract):
本文主要选取发表在《公众理解科学》和《科学传播》等国外出版物上的13篇关于科技报道研究的论文,对其研究主题、研究媒介、研究方法、研究框架等方面进行了分析,揭示了采用内容分析法研究科技报道的一般程序和方法以及在具体研究中的灵活运用。分析表明,近年来国外科学报道研究仍以近期热点科学事件和纸媒为主;时间跨度的选取与研究者的研究目的和主题有关,并影响到抽样方式;不同论文在研究框架、分析维度和变量选择方面虽然存在着较大的差异,但都是建立在概念和假设的操作化基础上,仍有一定的规律可以遵循。最后,简要地阐述了科技报道研究的发展趋势。
