摘要(Abstract):
25年来,对于17世纪的科学革命研究中的发现、解释与研究方法在不断发展——特别是有关巫术与科学的关系和宗教与科学的冲突等方面——这不仅使科学史学家的事业全然改观,而且也彻底改变了我们关于科学知识的形象。为解释文明的这一伟大现象而作出的种种论证所促进的这场论战,已经超越了专业历史学界,并引起人们对这场“革命”和它传给现代社会的至关重要的遗产产生广泛的兴趣。
